It's been more than a year since Hurricane Helene devastated the mountains of North Carolina, but its effects are still being felt by those who live and work in the area. One of the region’s beloved businesses, Highwater Clays in Asheville, was forced to close its doors permanently after the storm. This set was crafted using the very last of my clay from Highwater. To honor their spirit and support the ongoing recovery of the area, 20% of the sale of this set will be donated to BeLoved Asheville, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the people of the city. My hope is that the pieces in this collection embody the unique character of Asheville and help give back to the community that continues to rebuild.
